Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per dayWhat You’ll Do
- Identify and evaluate business improvement opportunities across the organization to enhance service operations.
- Conduct business process and data analysis to support improvement initiatives and broader organizational change.
- Simplify and streamline business processes by eliminating unnecessary complexity and identifying more effective ways of working.
- Recommend new business initiatives and improvement projects, assessing and communicating impacts to Service Department activities.
- Coach, facilitate, and support teams and individuals in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Provide professional expertise and guidance in business improvement, leveraging proven industry practices and methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, partners, and key clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all business units to understand current challenges and operational needs.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes, including requirements, workflows, and data flows, using standard business process modeling (BPM) techniques.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes, facilitating effective change adoption.
- Work closely with technical business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions and project deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, analysis, and optimization within a heavy equipment, service, or manufacturing environment.
- Background in service department management, process improvement, project management, or a related role.
- Solid understanding of technical concepts relevant to service operations; familiarity with the Komatsu product line and SMS services is considered an asset.
- Experience working in an OEM dealership environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, business processes, data structures, reporting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to develop, plan, and execute short- and long-term goals.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and assess the impact of change.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve business process and systems issues in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to work independently, ask insightful questions, and drive initiatives forward.
- Experience defining success metrics for new systems or processes and establishing methods to track and measure outcomes.
- Working knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) methodologies to simplify operations and eliminate redundant processes.
