  • Working as part of a team on corporate restructuring files
  • Main point of contact and interacting with stakeholders on file engagements (creditors, debtors, lawyers,
lenders, etc.) for creditors and legal inquiries
  • Communicating with Bank customers to arrange for repayment of the Bank’s advances
  • Assessing the viability of diverse business entities in a variety of industries
  • Providing oversight and control of asset sales
  • Interacting with legal counsel in dealing with the legal elements of each mandate to effectively communicate
and negotiate with a number of stakeholders with diverse interests
  • Maintaining positive relationships with other corporate restructuring professionals including lawyers and
representatives of lending institutions
  • Adherence to all firm risk management policies and taking active steps to minimize the risk exposure to the firm
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in public accounting firm is preferred
  • Independent, intuitive thinker with the ability to apply accounting skills and business acumen in a variety of
unique challenging, one-off, real time assignments
  • Knowledge or experience with corporate insolvency assignments is of benefit
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to execute on deliverables in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and work beyond standard

To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $54,200–$74,550 in Toronto, ON.
