About the Hiring CompanyInner Circle Agency is recruiting a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company building enterprise-grade software for financial institutions .The company develops secure, cloud-native software used by large enterprise clients. Their platform powers complex financial workflows and is built with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and reliability .The organization operates with a distributed engineering team and a collaborative product-driven culture , delivering high-impact software in a fast-moving environment.Role OverviewThe CTO will lead the company’s technical organization while remaining deeply involved in engineering execution . This role combines technical leadership with hands-on contribution and requires someone who can comfortably move between architecture decisions, code reviews, and executive-level conversations with enterprise clients and stakeholders.The ideal candidate is a technical leader who still enjoys building , understands enterprise SaaS environments, and can guide a senior engineering team while maintaining high standards for security, scalability, and product delivery.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical organization and mentor a team of senior engineers
  • Contribute directly to the codebase and conduct architecture and code reviews
  • Own cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and engineering standards
  • Maintain strong security and compliance practices appropriate for enterprise clients
  • Partner closely with product leadership to guide technical roadmap and execution
  • Represent the technical vision of the platform in discussions with enterprise clients and stakeholders
  • Evaluate and implement modern technologies, including AI tooling and automation, to improve both product capabilities and development workflows
QualificationsRequired
  • Previous experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering within a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong hands-on software engineering background with the ability to actively contribute to code
  • Experience building or scaling enterprise-grade SaaS platforms
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, software security, and scalable system design
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Tech Stack
  • Cloud/Infrastructure: AWS
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Database: CockroachDB or similar distributed database technologies
  • Frontend: Angular
Preferred
  • Experience working in fintech, financial infrastructure, or regulated enterprise software environments
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and secure enterprise deployments
  • Experience working with AI tools, generative AI APIs, or LLM integrations in software products
  • Experience working with distributed engineering teams
