- Valid Canadian driver's license (Required).
- Strong physical fitness.
- Dependable, reliable and punctual.
- Ability to ski/snowboard.
- Ability to work independently/unsupervised, while managing time effectively to meet additional work loads.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to operate snow-blowers, ATV's and company trucks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ability to maintain a calm, friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Be comfortable and professional while working in a guest facing environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as computer literacy.
- Remove snow and ice throughout the resort using shovels and snowblowers.
- Disperse salt and sand on walkways, stairs and building entrances within the village.
- Maintain stairs, decks and walkways on hill, at our ancillary locations.
- Ensure ice/snow hazards are reported and addressed in a timely manner.
- Work closely with leaders and peers to maintain safe conditions for guests and staff.
- Prioritization duties at primary high-traffic locations.
- Monitor progress and document completed work on company tablet.
- Maintain strong communication with leaders.
- Using a 4-wheel drive truck; safely travel within the village to each job location.
- Operate a 2-way radio.
- Adhere to Sun Peaks Resort guidelines and procedures at all times.
