- Assist Electrical Engineers and Project Managers with the design and drafting support for multi-disciplinary projects
- Assist with the preparation of reports, specifications, and project memos
- Assist with electrical calculations including voltage drop, load calculations, short circuit analysis and Arch Flash studies
- Performance of electrical observations and inspections during construction
- Review shop drawings, respond to request for information from contractors
- Commissioning of on-site systems
- Business travel upon request
- Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
- Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees
- An electrical engineering technologist diploma
- Registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist or eligibility to be certified within six months
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Two to three years' work experience, however less experienced professionals will be considered
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2014 (or newer)
- Working knowledge of Revit as a Building Information Management (BIM) design tool
- Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and related building codes
- Microstation experience is an asset
- Hands-on experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems is required
