
Traffic Control Person - Utility

- Safely direct the flow of traffic around active worksites using signs, signals, and radios.
- Follow traffic control plans as directed by the Crew Foreperson or Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with motorists, pedestrians, and worksite crew members.
- Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and debris removal.
- Operate chainsaws and chippers; load and process brush.
- Provide rigging support for lowering limbs.
- Rake and leaf blow worksites to maintain cleanliness.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Abide by company and industry safety standards at all times.
- Work at multiple locations in a variety of weather conditions.
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) ticket.
- Previous experience as a Flagger/Traffic Control Person an asset.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
- Safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and adaptable.
- Valid provincial driver's license (air brake endorsement/5-ton vehicle license an asset).
- Previous landscape, horticulture, or tree care experience an asset.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and pursue arborist certification.
- $22.30-$25.07/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
- Full time. Year-round employment.
