We’re hiring a Regional Sales Director, Wholesaler for Montreal’s South Shore. For this role, you must have a solid understanding of the financial services industry and Desjardins’s investment products and services to proactively support investment advisors in your assigned region. You’re responsible for producing new sales while focusing on maintaining assets under management. You develop new relationships and maintain existing ones with independent financial advisors. In partnership with the regional sales advisor, you develop and implement the area’s business plan to reach and exceed sales and activity objectives. More specifically, you will be required to:Proactively hold one-on-one sales meetings using a consultative sales approach to identify needs, issues or opportunities to promote the right investment solution.Carry out a business plan for the area that focuses on deepening existing client relationships and engage in prospecting activities to expand the scope of Desjardins’s investment solutions.Consistently achieve and exceed minimum activity and sales objectives.Continually demonstrate efficient management and prioritization of prospects and area coverage.Maintain a solid understanding of Desjardins’s investment solutions, competitors and financial markets.Effectively use the sales tools provided (CRM, Excel to perform, monitor and analyze the effectiveness/impact of targeted sales campaigns, hypothetical illustration tools, financial calculators and Webex presentations).Carry out business development activities such as giving presentations at branch meetings, leading seminars for advisors and investors and attending dealer conferences.Represent Desjardins at industry-related events.Work with the regional sales advisor through effective, ongoing communication and area planningWhat we offer*Competitive salary and annual bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment
