Location: Windsor, ON
Position/Title: DZ Driver
Salary/Hourly Rate: $20-$22/hr
Shift: 8-10 hours/day
Start Time: 8:00 AM – Finish
- ​​​Key Responsibilities
- Cross the US border daily for deliveries
- Deliver to up to 4 US destinations per trip, including Detroit, Livonia, and Motor City
- Trips are typically up to 4 hours, with some days requiring two trips
- Perform occasional local deliveries as required
- Load and unload palletized freight using a pump jack only (no hand-bombing or pallet building)
- Occasionally bring return shipments from Motor City to WFC
- Work flexible hours based on operational needs
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for daily US border crossings
- Experience using a pump jack
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Valid Class DZ Endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of DZ truck driving experience
- Clean CVOR & Abstract
- Ability to cross the border (Canada/USA)
- Familiarity with Windsor and Detroit roads
- Experience driving automatic trucks
- Drivers arrive at the warehouse, load the truck, and depart for deliveries
- Typically 3-4 delivery stops per day
- No long-haul trips—deliveries are within local Windsor-Detroit areas
