Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and trailers.
- Ability to use basic tools and power tools.
- Ensure that all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards and address any safety concerns promptly.
- Deliver trucks and equipment to worksites and vendors.
- Wash and clean trucks and equipment.
- Assist in roadside safety equipment installations.
- Organize equipment within the warehouse/yard.
- Load and unload equipment and tools.
- Other duties as outlined by manager.
- Keep accurate records of all the rental assets.
- Ensure that the vehicles and trailers are clean, both inside and out, and presentable to customers for rental services.
- Assist in the management of rental assets availability, ensuring that assets are ready for customers as scheduled.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with rental customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Work efficiently to control maintenance and repair costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Work closely with other team members, including fleet managers and customer service representatives, to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet, rental services and installations.
- Provide regular reports on fleet maintenance, vehicle availability, and any issues that may affect the operation of the fleet and rental services.

- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training or certification in automotive technology preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair would be considered as an asset.
- Basic construction knowledge would be an asset.
- Experience in towing trailers would be an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and maintenance software usage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for interactions with rental customers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repair situations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.

- 40 hours work per week.
- Possible shift work Monday to Friday with the shifts between 7:30 AM and 8 PM. (Typically 8 hours shift)
- Overtime and on-call work may be available.
- Working outside and in the warehouse/yard in all types of weather.
