A commitment to continuous learning and development is a strong part of our culture.To support our growing business, Pinnacle is seeking candidates for a Technical Writer to join our Quality Assurance Team.Job DescriptionThe Technical Writer is responsible for developing new company policies and procedures that are clear, concise, and easy to understand for employees. The candidate will be responsible for keeping records of any policy and procedure changes, including revisions, updates, and deletions.The candidate will liaise with subject-matter experts (SME’s) from various departments within Pinnacle to aid in drafting policies and procedures. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex internal processes into clear, concise, and accessible documents that guide employees in their daily activities. These policies and procedures will ensure standardization and quality standards are met and ultimately drive efficiencies.Responsibilities
  • Writing clear and concise policies, guidelines, and rules for performing activities within the company related to the fund accounting and investor services operations.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, department heads, and stakeholders to gather information and insights necessary for policy and procedure development.
  • Review and assess existing policies and guidelines to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or other areas in need of improvement.
  • Testing procedures in training environments to ensure applicability.
  • Keeping records of all policy revisions, updates, and deletions.
  • Vet policies and procedures drafted with Executive Leadership Team and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Design a central repository or identify a relevant system for storing and organizing policy and procedure documents for easy access.
  • Assist the Head of Quality & Assurance in developing training materials and conducting training sessions to educate employees and stakeholders on new or updated policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Head of Quality & Assurance in developing reports on policy compliance and usage, providing insights to management for decision-making and improvement.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and well-structured policies, procedures or other technical documents (this includes school courses)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to conduct research, gather information, and translate it into understandable policies, procedures, or other technical documents.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Willingness and capability to learn to develop training materials and assist with training sessions.
  • Possessing initiative, critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Proficiency in Sharepoint desired, but not required.
Requirements
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Great command of the English language
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
