With the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders and make a meaningful impact on plant operations, this role offers a rewarding career path for those looking to grow within the manufacturing and industrial sectors.Type of Employment:Full time/Permanent directly on the client's payroll.Benefits:Dental careExtended health careLife insuranceRRSP matchingShifts available: Days/ Afternoons/ NightsDuties and Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentOperate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation and repair.Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing instrumentsTroubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and programmable logic control systems.Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform repairs to minimize downtimeAdjust machinery and replace defective parts as needed.Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning of machinery.Document maintenance and repair activities, parts usage, and equipment historyCollaborate with production teams to coordinate planned maintenance schedulesEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company proceduresTrain and mentor junior technicians as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications
  • Valid 433A Industrial Millwright
  • Experience in industrial maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
  • Experience with welding and fabrication an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Work Environment
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • May require occasional weekend work for major repairs or installations
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times on the production floor
  • Some tasks may require working at heights or in confined spaces
