Class 1/AZ Truck DriverKAG Canada is looking for industry-leading drivers!Fall Fertilizer season is coming to the Prairies!Join us for the month of September/October and our team of 850 drivers from across Canada!Job Location: Prairie provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.Rate of Pay: Training $27.08, Seasonal $28.50/hr starting rate + premium add-ons for product, equipment, shift.Products: Anhydrous Ammonia (NH3), Liquid and Dry Fertilizer, and other dry bulk commoditiesWork Schedule Highlights: NH3 and liquid fertilizer drivers assigned to excess hours permit - 13 days at federal HOS followed by 36-hours reset. Dry bulk drivers maximize federal hours of service working 70 hours and 36-hours reset.What’s in it for you?
  • WEEKLY WAGE GUARANTEE IN EFFECT!
  • The contract ranges for 3 to 5 weeks in duration.
  • $300 paid per on-road reset; all drivers reset in the truck unless assigned to active slip seat team.
  • $500 of Completion Bonus (Worked Minimum of 4 weeks on the contract and stay until released by the company)
  • Primarily pulling Super-B tankers and some Triaxle and Tandem Trailers.
  • Paid product training and certification.
  • Opportunity to extend to full-time or full-time rotational following successful seasonal contract.
  • Seasonal drivers are provided return airfare OR mileage.
All Applicants Require:
  • Min. 2 years’ Class 1/AZ tractor-trailer highway driving experience
  • Abstract considers past 3-5 years, depending on infraction.
  • Willingness to have respirator fit test for NH3 specific drivers (requires driver to be clean shaven)
  • Successful candidate must pass through on-site company paid Job Abilities Assessment, Alcohol and Drug screen, and criminal & reference background check.
