You'll work alongside experienced commercial restoration project leaders, helping coordinate reconstruction and general contracting projects that make a lasting impact for our clients.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGERAs an Assistant Project Manager, you are the connector that keeps every part of a project running smoothly. You support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing field activities while coordinating subcontractors and resources to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. You review scopes, prepare estimates, and assist with documentation, change orders, and job reporting. Each day, you collaborate with clients, adjusters, and internal teams to anticipate challenges, track progress, and drive solutions that keep projects on target. Your proactive communication, teamwork, and attention to detail ensure that every job is executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest level of client satisfaction.Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a lead from the COMMERCIAL restoration or construction industry
  • Post-secondary education in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, codes, and project coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort with mobile apps and project software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration and accountability
  • IICRC or equivalent certifications an asset; ability to obtain provincial asbestos certification required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
  • Ability to travel for extended periods for CAT or AWE assignments
