- Work as a key member of transportation design assignments with other project engineers on Roadway and Highway projects
- Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates
- Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
- Assist in the management and coordination of larger projects or manage task orders within retainer contracts, including preparing and tracking scopes, budgets and schedules
- Manage the following work elements: day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, write reports and technical memos for internal and external purposes, coordinate with subconsultants, carry out or support client presentations, and keep clients satisfied
- Perform other duties as needed
- Master's degree
- EIT with ability to obtain P.Eng. within 24 months.
- Experience with Civil3D, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
- Bachelor's degree
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
