From highways and roadways to complex construction projects, our reputation has been built on quality workmanship, safety and strong relationships with our customers and the communities we work in.The Night Security position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of Border Paving Ltd.'s facilities, equipment and property after hours. We are looking for a dependable and observant individual who is comfortable working independently and able to respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations.Job Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the yards, buildings and equipment storage areas
Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity and safety concerns
Secure gates, buildings, and equipment as required
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies and notify management as required
Maintain accurate logs of nightly activity and report any concerns
Work with law enforcement or emergency services when required
Perform other duties to support site security
Qualifications
Previous security or related experience is an asset
Ability to work independently and use sound judgement
Strong observation and reporting skills
Dependable, punctual with a commitment to safety
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
