Position Summary:Acuren is seeking a professional, energetic and forward-thinking CEDO Technician with IRATA certification to support operations at LNG site located in Kitimat, BC.Position DetailsLocation: Position is based locally in Kitimat, BC at LNG siteStart date: ImmediatelyShift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtimeWage: $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC AgreementRelocation: We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition if required. Responsibilities:

Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.
Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.
Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.
Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others.
Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Requirements:Certifications & Technical Qualifications:CEDO CertificationIRATA (Rope Access) Certified or willing to obtainDiversified experience in NDT or related fieldSelf-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance levelProfessional Skills & Work Requirements:

Strong work ethics
Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients

Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
