Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced SAP Device Management S/4HANA Consultant to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience designing and managing end to end Metering & Device processes in SAP. This includes expertise in device lifecycle, meter installations, meter reading, validation and estimation, and billing determinant processes, while ensuring seamless integration with Billing, FI CA, AMI/MDM systems, and field operations. This hybrid role comes with the expectation of weekly or bi-weekly travel (Monday night to Thursday EOD).Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable the reliable ingestion, validation, and processing of high-volume smart meter data.
  • Design and configure solutions for operational event handling and exception management within the smart metering data flow.
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end integration of meter data with core SAP Utilities processes, specifically Device Management, Billing (FI-CA), and Customer Service.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable system solutions.
  • Focus on data integrity, system performance, and process reliability throughout the smart meter data lifecycle.
  • Utilities experience is a major asset.
