- Assist in gathering, validating, and organizing data from various sources
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business operations
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness in reports and dashboards
- Lead the development of dashboards and KPI scorecards using Excel, Power BI
- Create visually engaging and user-friendly reports to communicate insights to, business users
- Assist with maintaining and updating existing reporting tools and templates
- Document current workflows and identify inefficiencies through data and stakeholder input
- Support small-scale process improvement initiatives and automation efforts
- Apply design-thinking and user-focused approaches to improve data usability and accessibility
- Work closely with business teams to understand reporting and data needs
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help promote the use of data and Power BI tools across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a data analyst or similar role, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, or Looker.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced knowledge in Power BI and Power Query.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL.
- Experience with AlayaCare Data Exploration (DE) is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement, eliciting requirements, presenting findings, and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with data-governance principles, including metadata documentation, security controls, and data privacy standards.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct ad hoc analysis in response to internal requests, supporting teams across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve data inconsistencies and improve reporting accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with departments such as HR, and Finance to understand data needs and align reporting efforts.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, SharePoint) is an asset
- Experience in healthcare, non-profit, or other mission-driven environments is preferred.
