We’re a newer franchise with big ambitions, and we’re building our team with people who want to grow with us.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Field Operations Manager who’s hands-on, experienced in asphalt, and ready to take ownership of how work gets done. This role was previously held by our General Manager, who built the operations from the ground up and is now stepping into a leadership position focused on growth. You’ll work closely with him and the owners to run day-to-day operations, lead crews in the field, and help shape how we deliver for our clients.This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on the tools, with the teams, making decisions, and solving problems on site. But it’s also more than just a technician role. We need someone who thinks like an owner, takes initiative, and sees this as a career, not just a seasonal gig.We use technology and systems that most pavement companies don’t. Lead and manage field crews on commercial pavement maintenance jobs across Hamilton, Niagara, and occasionally the GTA
Plan and execute asphalt repairs including pothole patching, cut and replace, crack filling, repaving, excavation, and catch basin work
Coordinate daily job scheduling, crew assignments, equipment prep, and materials
Train team members on proper techniques, safety, and quality standards
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets EverLine quality standards
Communicate with clients on-site as the face of the company
Work closely with the General Manager on operations planning, scoping, and estimating
Help develop and improve processes and systems as the company scales
Take ownership of your work and make decisions without needing constant direction
What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves:
2+ years of experience in asphalt paving, repair, or related pavement work
Hands-on experience with pothole repair, cut and replace, crack filling, repaving, excavation, and catch basin work
Experience operating skid steers, plate compactors, saw cutters, and rollers
Comfortable working with trailers and dump trailers
Valid G licence with a clean driver’s record (non-negotiable)
Ability to lead a crew and work with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and the creativity to find solutions in the field
Comfortable using technology in your daily work. We use digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and operations that are uncommon in this industry, and they’re always evolving. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to pick things up quickly and embrace better ways of doing things.
Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
Nice-to-Haves:
Concrete repair experience
Experience managing, training, or mentoring a team
Familiarity with commercial property maintenance

DZ licence (asset, not required)
