I am looking for a reliable, organized, and caring female to join my support team through the Direct Funding Program in Ontario. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada. About Me: I am a female wheelchair user and live with my family and our cat in the Trinity Bellwoods area (Dundas & Ossington) of Toronto. I work in mental health and have a breakfast smoothie every day! About the Job: You will work in my home. This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week. Potential shifts are 8am-2pm and 5-7pm ($22 - $25/hr). There may be an overnight shift available 10pm-5am ($123.50 flat rate). The job starts on April 28. You will be paid every two weeks by cheque. This is not a cash job. Your Responsibilities MAY Include (tasks will vary by shift and some occur infrequently): • Personal care including bladder and bowel routines, dressing, and showering • Transferring by sliding board or ceiling lift • Food preparation • Laundry and housekeeping • Running errands and shopping • Coming with me to appointments • Occasionally accompanying me when I travel What I'm Looking For: • Female and a non-smoker • Someone who has a relatively short commute to me (no more than 5km).
