This role is based in our Calgary Distribution Centre and reports to the Distribution Centre Manager.Do not miss the opportunity to join a diverse group of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit, and status quo-fighters!The Order Picker Student will be responsible for accurately and quickly servicing a fast-paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.Responsibilities:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standardsAccurately pick, assemble, and stage customer orders for shipmentLoad and unload trucks using a counterbalance forklift in a safe and efficient mannerPerform daily pre-operational inspections of mobile equipment and report any defectsPick and pack products from warehouse racking according to order specificationsProcess completed orders by preparing cartons and documentation for shipmentBuild products securely onto pallets and wrap/label pallets for outbound shipmentProactively report safety, security, or equipment concerns to the direct supervisorCommunicate inventory discrepancies, damages, or delays clearly and promptly with team membersKnowledge and skill requirements:Currently enrolled in a College or University program, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related fieldExperience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferredFamiliarity with RF scanners and remote printers is an assetStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesDemonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask, work efficiently under deadlines, and collaborate in a team-based environmentPrevious experience operating Order Pickers and/or Reach Forklifts is an asset but not requiredAvailable for a Full Time position during Summer 2026IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
