Supports both field operations during the construction season and shop-based maintenance activities during the off-season, in full compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.Main Responsibilities

Operate micro surfacing and related heavy equipment in accordance with safety standards and project requirements
Apply all safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Prepare work activities by reviewing project plans and transporting equipment to job sites
Set up traffic control and ensure safe access to work areas
Adjust and operate equipment to ensure proper material application
Perform work as directed by supervisors while maintaining quality standards
Conduct daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Willingness to learn and grow within the Micro Surfacing Division

Profile

Experience operating heavy equipment (paving, road construction, or similar preferred)
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance
Valid driver’s license (Class 3 or higher preferred)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during the construction season
Willingness to work seasonally in the field and in the shop during winter months (Leduc)
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Relevant certifications or authorizations to operate equipment are considered an asset
