They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets. By providing technical support and management resources the Associate ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Provides the Management Team with staff performance criteria and information on all design staffMeets regularly with all team members to identify issues and put action plans in placeProvides workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysis and keeps Deltek up to dateregarding prospective unsecured projects (integrating efforts of the Marketing Team)Recommend distribution of new work based on staff availability as established by the teamRepresents Introba at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders and being the company representative at related association meetings, plus dealing with city, provincial and federal officialsTrain staff in all phases of design process to ensure continuation of technical design operation when absent from the office or when staff is on vacation. Utilizing leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfactionEffect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service, products and systems to meet client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position while instilling a culture of quality amongst design team members and ensures that the quality control function is effectively performedAssure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documentsEffect studies to determine cause, effect and corrective actions required to remedy deviations impairing desired standardsQualifications:6+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control systemsProject management experience in consulting engineeringDemonstrated leadership abilitiesUniversity degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PEng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or EIT designations are highly preferredLEED® Accredited professional designation is desiredAdditional InformationIntroba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $110,400 - $138,000 annually for this position and local market.
