We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Offset Printing Press Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Markham, ON. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and experience in manufacturing environments. This role involves operating press machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols to support efficient production processes. Candidates with warehouse experience, machining skills, or familiarity with packaging are highly encouraged to apply.   • Set up, operate, and monitor sheetfed offset printing presses
  • Review job tickets and confirm specifications (paper stock, inks, coatings, etc.)
  • Perform make-ready, adjust ink and water balance, and maintain color consistency
  • Inspect printed sheets for quality, registration, and defects
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical or print quality issues
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet production standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all health and safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Prefer 10+ years of experience operating sheetfed offset presses
  • Experience with large-format presses (e.g., 40” or larger) preferred
  • Strong understanding of color theory and print quality standards
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read job tickets and production schedules
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
