This role leads end‑to‑end SAP Finance solutions-including design, configuration, integration, and implementation-while partnering closely with business and product leaders to enhance financial and operational processes. It also provides strategic technical leadership by managing vendors, driving continuous improvement, and setting development standards across the organization.Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into system specifications, identifying gaps, issues, and potential workarounds.
Oversee successful execution of functional tasks across design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
Support and implement SAP Finance and Controlling modules to improve system performance and business functionality.
Provide technical oversight of end‑to‑end integration solutions between SAP and both SAP and non‑SAP systems.
Lead the technical and functional design of systems integrated through SAP, including documentation, training, and ongoing support.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to review test plans and ensure adequate coverage and completeness.
Develop processes, standards, and best‑practice guidelines for application development.
Work closely with business and product leaders to identify system improvement opportunities, manage intake, and drive execution to deliver measurable outcomes.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across financial and operational processes.
Manage key technology vendors and maintain productive relationships that support business value.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Finance (preferably SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance).
At least 3 years in a technology leadership or team‑lead capacity.
Minimum 2 full end‑to‑end SAP Finance implementations, including design, configuration, and functional testing.
Academic background in Finance or Accounting is an asset.
Experience integrating SAP with other enterprise applications is highly beneficial.
Knowledge or experience working with the new SAP General Ledger (SAP‑GL).
Strong business process design skills.
Demonstrated experience with production incident management.
Experience managing capital and operational budgets, with proven cost‑management achievements.
Experience collaborating with remote or distributed teams.
