We (Discovery Community College) currently have an opening in our Nanaimo campus for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Campus Administrator.

This is a part-time position of 28-32 hours per week and will be Evenings and Saturdays – exact schedule will be agreed upon.

The duties required for these positions include, but not limited to:
  • Multi-line switchboard operation
  • Extensive filing and file archiving/organizing
  • Data entry
  • Managing some administrative tasks independently
Desired skills/attributes:
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • General computer literacy
  • Attention to detail
This position will allow the successful applicant to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, manage multiple tasks, use good judgment, and manage an administrative workload.
