This role bridges estimating, procurement, and on-site material management, supporting our construction projects from planning to execution.Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-off
- Perform quantity take-offs (QTO) based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Prepare material quantity estimates and assist in cost analysis
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies, missing scope, or potential risks
- Support tendering and bidding processes when required
- Develop material lists and procurement schedules aligned with construction timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, pricing, and lead times
- Assist in purchase order tracking and delivery follow-ups
- Monitor material deliveries and verify quantities upon arrival
- Coordinate storage, handling, and distribution of materials on site
- Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure proper material usage
- Track material consumption and report variances
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and designers
- Support problem-solving related to material shortages, delays, or substitutions
