OverviewYou will play an essential role in maintaining the quality and professionalism of customer-facing content by reviewing print and digital assets for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.Collaborate closely with creative, production, and studio teams to uphold quality throughout the workflow and flag discrepancies or inconsistencies proactively.Ensure final deliverables meet expectations and adhere to established brand standards. Verify that files follow approved naming conventions, folder structures, and version control to maintain organisation and reduce the risk of errors.You will support studio best practices by reinforcing proofreading processes and contributing to a culture of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Compare digital assets against approved copy decks -- Ensure that copy decks match the creative decks (or online shared documents) in PowerPoint or Google Docs
- Proofread English (and, possibly, Spanish) language material; Spanish translations will be provided
- Review materials for compliance with brand guidelines, correct logo placement, alignment of graphic elements, and typographic consistency
- Annotate any errors and inconsistencies clearly and concisely, and check file size and resolution for each digital asset
- Deliver documents with clearly written comments to the project manager, account services team, or client, and monitor subsequent revisions and drafts
Qualifications
- 3+ years' proofreading experience in an ad agency or a similar marketing department, design studio, or digital environment
- Previous experience proofreading for digital, out-of-home (OOH) an advantage
- Proficient in Acrobat Pro, MS Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Workfront and JIRA
- Working knowledge of new AI technology and automation trends would be an advantage
- You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage timelines, and remain calm under pressure
- Proven ability to take initiative, work as a team member, and assist coworkers as needed
- Communicate effectively with the studio team and with stakeholders on agency and client teams
- Attend regular status meetings and submit timesheets in a timely manner
