This position can be located in our Toronto, Mississauga & Waterloo offices.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Responsibilities
  • Cost Control: Demonstrated experience working on cost control in a design environment. Develop baseline budgets in conjunction with project team. Ensure risk, contingencies and escalation allowances are documented and updated regularly. Prepare / maintain cash flow projections and manage working capital. Track all time / cost changes affecting the performance of the prime contract
  • Administration: Produce, update, and provide best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Client & Customer Management (Internal): Ensure project revenue enhancement opportunities are maximized through systematic interface between change management, prime contract management, scheduling and cost control teams
  • External Communications: Help others get the most out of external communications systems by offering support and advice.
  • Budget: Coordinate with the project team to produce / update the control budget, cost reports, and cost and revenue forecast -
  • Knowledge Management System: Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
  • Data Management: Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
  • Document Management: Create a local document management system for an office or department.
  • Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
  • Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years working within project controls in a design environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing project metrics including but not limited to earned value, CPI, SPI
  • Experience managing projects in a DB/ P3 environment
  • Experience working within a JV
  • Experience working with data analytics software and enterprise software
  • Manage project cost reporting including weekly, monthly reports and project dashboards
