We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleCameco's exploration department is involved in industry reference point geoscience retention, information visualization, and automation technologies with our internal and external subject matter experts. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with expertise to further our teams value extraction of our built-for-purpose centralized data stack, including ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, acQuire GIM Suite, Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform (Power BI, Automate and Apps).In this role, you will:
  • Support the evaluation, consultation, designing, implementation and maintenance of exploration geoscience and business data repositories.
  • Supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance and training of the exploration database systems/software and business processes
  • Provide efficient data accessing and visualization to stakeholders and exploration software platforms.
  • Respond to user requests and triage urgent fixes
Required:
  • bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, library sciences, natural sciences, or related field;
  • experience with SQL Server;
  • up to three years of applicable work experience;
  • strong business analysis and communication skills; and
  • experience working in large groups and demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Recommended:
  • working knowledge in geospatial and geoscience, database management and programming and quality control experience;
  • Microsoft Power Platform; and
  • any programming language.
