They work with Physicians to practice where, when, and how they want to practice!They are looking for an Internal Medicine Specialist - Cardiology focused to be part of their dynamic and expanding team. The physician will be involved with the following functions of the clinic: Cardiology consultations, Echocardiography and Stress Echo supervision and interpretation as well as Holter and event recorder interpretation. ABI and Spirometry testing and interpretation available to those qualified. Additionally, there will be full access to general radiology and nuclear services on site.Immigration Support: Our client is offering full immigration support and employer-paid work permit processing - An exceptional benefit that's rarely available!Hours of Operation:Part time & Full time opportunities availableMonday to Friday - Flexible daytime shiftsNo on-call work or emergency work requiredResponsibilities:As an Internist, you can expect to:Perform assessment, screening, diagnosis, health education/counseling and appropriate, comprehensive treatment - within full scope of practice as defined by the The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).Adhere to and promote evidence-based practices and standards of best-practice.Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating and liaising closely with colleagues.Attend clinical management meetings.Refer patients to other clinicians for further consultation and testing as required.Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonable with the scope of practice.Requirements & Education:Medical Degree and certification in Internal Medicine.Hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).Physicians with Royal College Approved Jurisdiction eligibility eligible for a supervised license with the CPSOPhysicians that have successfully completed the RCPSC specialty examination via the RCPSC Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam are eligible for a supervised license with the CPSOAmerican Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license with the CPSOEligible for license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).Collaborate with health care staff, patients and their families.Able to work in a team environment and independently.Salary:Attractive 'Fee for Service' payment model; with earning potential of $3000+/ day.
