Tubular Lab Supervisor

- Supervises the day-to-day operations of hourly employees working in the lab.
- Provides performance feedback, coaching, and training of employees
- Performs calibration and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational and quality standards.
- Attend daily production meetings.
- Review testing requirements for each product
- Drive continuous improvement, with a focus on safety performance, takt time and consumable costs
- Conducts qualification testing with third party inspectors
- Review quality test results with Product Specialists to facilitate pipe release
- Post secondary education in related field
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience of two years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals at various levels within the organization.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, close observation, and concentration
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in calibration and lab testing procedures.
- Light work: exerting up to 20 lb of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lb frequently
