Our client, an industry leader in concrete mixing plant operations, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance and operations department, supporting the smooth functioning of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Industrial MechanicLocation: Lower Sackville, NSPay Range: $26 - $30 per hourShift: Varies based on travelWhat's the Job?
  • Perform welding, maintenance, and repairs on concrete mixing plant equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery including conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulics
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment
  • Support electrical and mechanical system repairs and upgrades
  • Travel required across maritime provinces to support various sites and projects
What's Needed?
  • Proven experience in industrial mechanics and welding, or related fields
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within the maritime provinces as required
