You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where attention to detail, consistency, and pride in your craft are essential.Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times
- Strictly adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines, including safe food handling, storage, and cleaning practice
- Assisting with prep work, banquet plating, and a variety of cooking techniques depending on the event or service style
- Working closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Supporting kitchen leadership in maintaining a positive and productive environment
- Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement efforts
- Taking pride in every plate that leaves your station
- 2-3 years’ experience with banquet, catering or high volume kitchen environments
- Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of cooking techniques
- Confidence supervising and mentoring kitchen team members
- Safe Food Handler's Certificate (Required)
- Culinary Trade Certification or Read Seal (an asset)
- A passion for food and a drive to do your best every shift
- Reliable transportation required
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and event based hours
