Senior Actuarial AnalystWe are seeking an Actuary or Senior Actuarial Analyst to support actuarial governance and pricing oversight within a large, complex organization. This role focuses on providing independent actuarial reviews of high?impact initiatives across pricing and corporate actuarial functions.What you’ll do
  • Perform independent reviews of actuarial analyses, including rate indications, reserving, financial reporting, and predictive modeling
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian actuarial standards and best practices
  • Lead large initiatives, supervise junior staff, and provide peer review
  • Prepare clear, concise reports highlighting key risks and recommendations
  • Communicate complex technical results to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement improvements to actuarial processes and methodologies
What you bring
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant actuarial experience
  • Near?Fellow or Fellow designation (for Actuary) or Associate?level credentials (for Senior Actuarial Analyst)
  • Strong analytical, critical?thinking, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Python, SQL, R, VBA, SAS, or PySpark is an asset
  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions
