The Project Handyman will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day-to-day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested.This position offers a full-time position.Your work will include:
  • Perform maintenance and light repairs for various client's buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the interiors of commercial buildings.
  • Require self sufficient general construction skills including:
  • Painting.
  • Drywall repairs and installation.
  • Taping.
  • Concrete.
  • Floor covering work (VCT, ceramic, LVT, carpet).
  • Laminate.
  • Millwork.
  • Suspended ceiling repairs.
  • Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Keep client spaces clean during and after repairs.
  • Identify and report the need for major repairs.
QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • A great attitude!
  • At least five (5) year of experience in general construction industry.
  • Full G driving license. (Use of personal vehicle a benefit. Reimbursement for use can be supplied.)
  • Able to work a variety of day and night shift work. Weekly or weekend scheduled work.
  • Able to work various locations in southern Ontario. (GTA, Greater Niagara region, Windsor corridor).
  • Able to communicate with supervisors, clients and the general public in a professional manner.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • WHIMIS certified (Training can be supplied).
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
