OverviewWells / Lafarge Construction is currently hiring motivated individuals with good work ethics looking to pursue a career with our company for the 2024 ROAD CONSTRUCTION SEASON starting May.The position that we are currently looking for is a CEMENT BULKER SPREADER.Our job sites are located in various locations around Edmonton, which the applicant is required to have their own source of transportation.   • Union Hourly Wage for 50 hours per week

Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of road construction and ability to load, transport, maneuver on site and consistently spread Portland cement in unsuitable soft subgrades for the purpose of cement stabilizing, as per the geotechnical recommendations.
QualificationsEducation
  • Not required
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
  • Class 3 with Air Endorsement, and or Class 1 for hauling cement b-train unit.
Experience
  • Experience an asset
Languages
  • Speak English, Read English, Write English

  • Tractor Trailer and/or
  • Double axle truck

  • Handling, loading, transporting and spreading of cement products.
