- Preparing, cooking, and executing food items on a regular basis.
- Supporting with the implementation of new menu items based on recipes and restaurant programs.
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager with training and coaching the restaurant team according to established standard procedures.
- Supporting the restaurant department with quality control and shrink control.
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating ordering needs to the Restaurant Manager.
- Fostering a positive environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe, and sanitary work environment.
- Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous restaurant experience.
- Experience making a variety of Asian cold and hot foods including dim sum, BBQ and stir fry.
- A passion for great food and outstanding service.
- Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
- Food Safe Certification (considered an asset).
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (considered an asset).
