Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of Grainger Canada's financial resultsWork with the regions and various corporate support functions in the development of ad hoc financial analyses of customer, product, or service related issues and opportunities.Assist in the development and execution of the annual financial planning process, including preparation of various supporting financial analyses, reports and presentationsAssist in the completion of quarterly financial forecasts and the development and reporting on of contingency plans designed to meet various corporate financial targetsAssist in the analyses of various customer segmentation analyses, including further refinements to the existing Small, Medium, Large and National Account segmentation methodology and analysisReview and update the customer segment profitability analysisAssist in the development of Capital Appropriation Requests, including the development of financial forecasts and discounted cash flow analyses, as well as working with project sponsor/project manager in the development of the business case documentation, as appropriatePreferred Education & Experience:Completion of a university degree, preferably in Business Administration or CommerceUp to 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a distribution environmentStrong well-rounded business acumen; ability to understand the broader context of assignments and present a balanced approach when advising the businessExcellent Microsoft Office Skills with a strong emphasis on ExcelKnowledge of PowerBi or other Microsoft tools or Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, TeradataDemonstrated skills and initiative in process improvementStrong customer service focus; ability to effectively consult to functional and business units and enhance their level of knowledgeProven organizational and time management skillsPrior experience and ability to effectively present information via written and verbal presentation, to all levels of management, including the ExecutiveAccounting designation would be an asset.Rewards and Benefits:
