
Senior Communications Advisor

- Lead stakeholder engagement for projects across Alberta and BC Interior to support corporate goals
- Develop and implement regional communication and engagement strategies
- Monitor and manage stakeholder issues, including regulatory and community concerns
- Coordinate with internal teams to address community inquiries and align messaging
- Create external communications for web and social media, ensuring message consistency
- Support regulatory filings with strategic engagement input to meet compliance
- Manage assigned projects within scope, budget, and timelines
- Represent communications during crises, participating in ICS and required training
- University Degree in Communications, Engagement, Arts, or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience with a background in energy, infrastructure, or government; oil & gas sector is an asset
- Membership/designation with IABC, CPRS, IAPP, or equivalent a nice to have
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and communications
- Trained in conflict resolution, facilitation, media relations, and crisis communications (ICS 100, JIC)
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure in dynamic environments
- Valid drivers license required, a class 5 driver's license would be an asset; travel (15-20%) and occasional after-hours support required.
