  • Coordinate paint process engineering projects, focusing on sealer application, 4W color booth processes, and tune-in activities for topcoat or liquid primer.
  • Ensure the effective integration and optimization of automation in paint processes, particularly with Fanuc and Durr robots.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop, implement, and refine paint application systems and processes.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of paint processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve program objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the paint process engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards in all paint process activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in paint process engineering, with specific skills in sealer application and 4W color booth processes.
  • Expertise in tune-in processes for topcoat or liquid primer, with a strong understanding of paint chemistry and application techniques.
  • Experience with automation, particularly with robots from Fanuc and Durr, in a paint process environment.
  • Strong project coordination and management skills, with the ability to lead projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Position can be based either in Windsor or Brampton.
