This dynamic and collaborative team is committed to enabling customers to run Nutanix AOS and AHV seamlessly across public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. With a strong focus on quality, the NC2 team strives to ensure that mission-critical workloads operate reliably in both on-premise and cloud environments, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence.You will report to the Senior Director of Engineering, who exemplifies a collaborative leadership style that encourages open communication and fosters professional growth among team members. The role offers a hybrid work setup, requiring the engineer to work in the office part-time, while also allowing flexibility for remote work to accommodate project needs and personal preferences.This position does not have any required travel associated with it, allowing the selected candidate to focus on quality assurance and system testing from their primary work location without the need for frequent trips.Your Role

Lead the end-to-end quality strategy for Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS and Azure.
Own qualification and release criteria for key components, including Multi-Cloud Manager and Cloud Agents.
Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python to enhance testing efficiency.
Ensure the reliability and scalability of the Multi-Cloud Control Plane through validation of bi-weekly releases.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting best practices.
Act as a "Release Marshal," implementing quality gates and overseeing seamless production deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and advocate for testability in early design phases.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements in cloud testing and validation processes.

What You Will Bring

8+ years in System Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles, with 3+ years in Cloud Infrastructure.
Expert knowledge of AWS or Azure, including core services like EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3.
Proficiency in Python for test automation, including experience with frameworks like Pytest.
Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, networking, and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex features with high quality in fast-paced environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
Proven mentoring skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Work ArrangementHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
