Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance and Reach)Location: Etobicoke, ONPay Range: $22 per hourShift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMWhat's the Job?
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and offload trailers and containers, ensuring proper material placement and documentation.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to established procedures.
  • Verify product counts, condition, and documentation during receiving and shipping processes.
  • Ensure materials are stored correctly and all inventory movements are accurately recorded.
What's Needed?
  • Valid forklift certification with experience operating counterbalance and reach forklifts.
  • Previous warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and order picking.
  • Experience handling dangerous goods is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic computer or scanner proficiency for inventory tracking.
