
Associate Lawyer - Plaintiff Personal Injury

- Handle a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, long-term disability claims, and other liability matters.
- Provide legal counsel and representation through all stages of the client relationship, from initial consultations to resolution.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, settlement proposals, and trial briefs.
- Conduct negotiations and mediations with opposing counsel to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Appear before courts and tribunals as required for trial work or hearings.
- Maintain client contact and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure strategic case handling.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including legal assistants, clerks, and fellow lawyers, to manage cases effectively.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B. degree and be in good standing with the [Law Society of Province/State].
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
- Proven ability to manage cases independently from start to finish, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, legal procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Outstanding written advocacy, negotiation, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent business judgment and the ability to analyze and solve complex legal issues.
