Description:Rooms/Facilities Maintenance will service the interior of condo units, town homes. restaurant, kitchens, bars and hotel properties in general. They will provide service to internal and external customers. They must always adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. This role will also adhere to company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.Essential Functions:
  • Work requests pertaining to lodging units and resort outlets.
  • Preventative maintenance to condos and hotel interior.
  • Attention to details; aware of damages and potential maintenance problems.
  • Maintain & repair all residential appliances.
  • Work closely with House Keeping and other departments to resolve issues that impact guest experience.
  • Provide support for special events, activities and facility upgrades as required.
  • Work as a part of small but efficient team
  • Provide support to all maintenance staff, immediate response to guest requests, assist outside contractors.
  • Assist with other requests within the lodging department as required
Experience/Requirements:
  • BC valid driver’s license required & a valid motor vehicle record check
  • May be required to work on Weekends and Holidays
  • Secondary Education
  • Knowledge of residential and multi-family plumbing and mechanical systems
  • 1-2 yrs experience related to building maintenance
  • Communication skills within work environment among guests and employees.
  • Require basic hand tools.
  • Must be physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs.
