We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Bilingual Collections Associate for a full-time position with our client based in Toronto, ON. As a Bilingual Collections Associate, your core responsibility will be to manage accounts at various stages of delinquency, spanning from early to advanced stages (1-120+ DPD). Your primary objective is to secure payments from customers while maintaining a positive and professional rapport with them. In this role, you will handle both inbound and outbound calls, as well as respond to customer emails. Additionally, you will actively participate in various administrative tasks related to collections to achieve both individual and collective collections Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Key Responsibilities:Effectively collect payments on active accounts at different stages of delinquency, with a strong emphasis on maximizing payment recovery.Oversee end-of-term billing for terminated accounts.Address First Payment Default accounts, conducting thorough analyses to identify potential fraud.Manage Missed First Payment accounts, addressing procedural issues as needed.Collect on non-performing loans and skillfully negotiate the most favorable payment arrangements.Identify eligible accounts that have reached 45+ DPD (Days Past Due) for the Notice of Default procedure.Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the team.Qualifications:Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Analyst.Demonstrate knowledge of Canadian collection practices and regulations.Hold a high school diploma, with a College Degree being a valuable asset.Exhibit substantial prior experience in the field of automotive collections.Showcase proficiency in effective collections techniques tailored to late-stage delinquent accounts.Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage in conflict resolution, finding solutions that benefit both the customer and the company.Have intermediate experience using MS Excel.Be proficient in both written and spoken French.In this role, your expertise in collections, coupled with your proficiency in communication and negotiation, will contribute significantly to our team's success. Shift Flexibility:
