Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (25-30 hours a week) Starting: Mid-Feb 2026 Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (27 hours/week guaranteed), with opportunities for additional hours. About Us: We are a warm and active family of five in Burlington with three energetic and happy boys aged 9, 6, and 2. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper & Nanny to become a valued part of our household. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized home and is also comfortable and engaging with children in the evenings. This is a hybrid role with a clear structure: the first part of the day is focused on housekeeping and home management, while the late afternoon and evening shift to supporting the children and the family routine. Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping & Home Management (approx. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM): - Perform general housekeeping duties, including tidying, vacuuming, and mopping of main living areas (kitchen, family room, bathrooms, bedrooms). - Manage family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting clothes away. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, and cleaning up after meals. - Organize and manage household tasks such as taking out garbage/recycling and putting away groceries. - Change bed linens on a rotating basis. Nanny & Family Support (approx. 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM): - Corrdinate and manage dinner preparation - Welcome the older children home from school and prepare after-school snacks. - Supervise the children, engaging in play and ensuring a safe environment, with a primary focus on our 2-year-old. - corrdinate dinner planning preparation, - Assist with dinner service and cleanup. - Help maintain order by tidying up toys and play areas after use. - Support the evening routine as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar role combining housekeeping and childcare. - Comfortable with hosekeeping tasks. - Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently. - A proactive attitude-someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative. - Warm, patient, and reliable personality. - Comfortable caring for children across a range of ages, from toddler to school-aged. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a strong asset. - Current First Aid and CPR certification is required. - Willingness to undergo a background check.
