Infrastructure Architect / Implementer - Azure LocalOur client in Edmonton is seeking an Infrastructure Architect with experience in Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI). The role involves designing an enterprise Azure Local architecture across three data centres in Canada and the US. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.Your success will be defined by your ability to

Contribute to infrastructure support plans, roadmaps, standards, and direction
Develop and deliver work aligned with the support plan
Ensure strong results based on performance metrics
Maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness (productivity, quality, reliability, timely delivery)
Create, implement, and review support processes to meet policies, standards, and regulatory requirements while reducing risk
Design and size an Azure Local solution for the organization

Your Strengths include

7 - 10 years of related experience in IT infrastructure
Microsoft Azure Local - Architecture, Design and Implementation (Required)
Microsoft Azure Cloud - Architecture, Design and Implementation (Required)
Citrix App and Desktop Virtualization platform (Desired)
Scripting Skills - Powershell (Desired)
Previous experience with Virtual Desktops and migrations (Desired)
Experience as a solution or system architect, working on or supporting infrastructure projects, with subject matter expertise
Strong communication skills
Ability to understand and clearly explain key concepts
Knowledge of IT business continuity, security, and risk assessment and optimization methods
