- No set shifts, working 12hr days
- Replace piping systems efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth operation of equipment during and after the shutdown.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on steam generation systems, including boilers and associated components.
- Perform repairs and replacements on tanks and vessels, adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete tasks within the specified timeframe.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Document work performed, including any modifications or improvements made during the shutdown project.
- Journeyman Pipefitter certification required. Will consider Apprentice Pipefitters with relevant experience
- Proven experience in replacing piping systems and conducting repairs on steam generation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of tank and vessel repair techniques, including welding and fabrication.
- Must be confident in working within confined spaces
- Extensive knowledge & experience working with steam generation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics related to piping systems and equipment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and project stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required to complete the shutdown project on schedule.
- Valid class 5 licence (non GDL) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Certificates: H2S Alive, CSO or CSTS2020, Fall protection, Confined Space - Monitor & Entry, Standard first aid with CPR are required
