- Schedule: 14x14 - 12 hour shifts (Paid for 12 hours). Days and nights
- Accommodations: Camp is not provided
- Transportation: Transportation is provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after rotation)
- Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week
- Up to a combined rate of pay of $36.17/hour
- Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay allocated to each paycheck
- Earn up to 61 hours of overtime per 14-day rotation
- Night shift premium +$1.20 / hour

- Snow removal around shop and front parking lot (seasonal).
- Driving light vehicles in the mine
- Installing culverts/pipes
- Using plate tampers/other hand tools.
- Moving light plants/heaters and installing silt fence/filter cloth/geogrid.
- Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures.
- Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE.
- Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment with prior to job commencement.
- Manuevering heaters and light towers to warm equipment with pick up.
- 2 years experience in a labourer role.
- Minimum 1 year of previous mine experience.
- Previous experience shoveling, raking, grade/laser work, managing pumps and dewatering, installing piping and backfill is considered an asset.
- Successful candidate must be physically fit, capable of lifting 50 lbs (will be doing a lot of lifting and working outdoors) and work well with others.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are mechanically inclined.
- A safety-first attitude.
- Attentive and possess strong listening skills.
- High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

- Be subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:
- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
- Audiometric Testing
- Vision Screening
- An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
- After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
